Andrea Gutierrez
Andrea Gutierrez is a UCI alumni and a recipient of the 2017 Dynamic Woman of UCI Award for Social Justice. She manages the FRESH Basic Needs Hub on campus, which provides resources to ensure students have access to basic necessities. In addition, she is a co-chair of the campus and Systemwide Food Access Security and Basic Needs Committee.
Ashley Villa
Ashley Rachel Villa, Esq. is an attorney and manager of many YouTube stars and to digital content creators. The UCLA alumna has previously worked at StyleHaul, Sierra/Affinity LLC, and Lionsgate Entertainment Corp. She received her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Loyola Marymount University. She is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the California State Bar. She has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
Derek Sabori
After launching a career at Volcom in 1996, Derek Sabori has held many diverse roles since then before finally serving 5 years as the Vice President of Sustainability. Additionally, he is the founder of Underswell, a modern sustainability advisory agency.
Lindsay Freedman
As a law student, Lindsay Freedman’s husband was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. His diagnosis led her to begin her food blog that focusses on low glycemic, gluten-free and tasty recipes that contain wholesome ingredients.
lydia Natoolo
Lydia Natoolo is currently a student at University of California, Irvine majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in Political Sciences. The youngest of 28 children, Lydia was born in Lusaze - a village in Uganda and witnessed firsthand the struggles of living without basic necessities such as food, running water, and electricity. In May 2014, Lydia worked on a research paper with a topic; “The Horrors of Water” and made some significant discoveries.
Michael Dennis
Professor Michael Dennis’s main research interest is systems that exhibit emergent properties. He is well-known for popularizing science for the public and teaching many online courses on natural sciences. Michael is dedicated to enhancing the undergraduate experience and oversees programs that connect students to a wide range of academic programs.
Michele goodwin
Professor Michele Goodwin is a Chancellor’s Professor at UCI and is the founder and director of the Center for Biotechnology and Global Health Policy at UC Irvine School of Law and its internationally acclaimed Reproductive Justice Initiative.
